JioBook (2023): Reliance Jio debuted its first-ever new-launch laptop in October 2022 at the India Mobile Congress (IMC). The gadget was once restricted to government employees but is now available to the general public. You may get your hands on this laptop by visiting any Reliance Digital Store from August 5, 2023. The low-cost laptop has a starting price in India of Rs 16,499, although it may be less than Rs 15000 after discounts.
On July 31, telecom giant Reliance Jio will officially release the second generation JioBook laptop in India. The forthcoming JioBook will supposedly be more portable and technologically advanced than its forerunner. It will debut on the Amazon marketplace.
JioBook Laptop 2023 Specifications
The plastic body of the JioBook is adorned with a silver ‘Jio’ emblem on the top. The laptop has an 11.6-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. However, the bezels around the screen are rather large. The laptop has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU and an Adreno 610 graphics processing unit (GPU). It has 32GB of eMMC storage space that can be increased with a microSD card and 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It will have a lightweight design and an octa-core CPU.
The JioBook is powered by the company’s own JioOS, which provides access to software, including the Microsoft Ad browser and the Jio Cloud PC. It also has a high-definition webcam. The laptop will, as expected, be Android-based and come with the same JioOS user interface seen on the first JioBook.
The new JioBook supports 4G connections and has WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-A 2.0 and USB-A 3.0 ports. A 55.1 to 60 AH battery powers the laptop, providing power for up to 8 hours. The gadget has a stereo pair of speakers and a microphone on both sides.
