Canada Express Entry Round Of Invitation
The IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) ranks the potential candidates in the invitation pool using a points-based system called CRS Score Calculator. In the Express Entry invitation round, the IRCC chooses the type of draw, decides the number of candidates from the invitation pool, identifies the high-ranking candidates, and invites those candidates to apply for the Canada Permanent Residency.
IRCC has different types of rounds of invitations in a year. It has three types of invitation rounds – The general round of invitation, the program-specific round of invitation, and the last category-based round of invitation. In the general round of invitations, IRCC invites high-ranking candidates to 1 of 3 programs named – the Federal Skilled Worker Program. Federal Skilled Trades Program, etc., whereas in the program-specific rounds of invitations, it invites candidates in the program linked with the Provincial Nominee Program. The last type of invitation is category-based, in which a category is established to meet a specific economic goal. The type of draw in the Canada Express Entry Draw needs to be specified in the program details.
