MP SET Result 2023: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducted an eligibility test for 36 subjects on August 27, 2023. The exam was to test eligibility for filling various posts in the Assistant Professor Grade. The Eligibility Test is conducted every year by the MPPSC to test the knowledge of the applicants. The exam was conducted in 36 subjects in four sets in offline mode. Exams were conducted in many cities across Madhya Pradesh, and EAM centres were allotted to each applicant as per their place of stay. Applications from eligible candidates were invited from January 27, 2023, to February 26, 2023.

The eligibility requirement for the candidate is a postgraduate degree in relevant fields with a minimum of 55 per cent marks. In reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC, etc., the minimum marks required are 50 per cent. Also, the postgraduate degree should be from a UGC-recognized university. Presently, there are about 1700 Assistant Professor and Assistant Principal posts vacant in the Education Department of Madhya Pradesh. Those candidates who pass the exam and eligibility tests, if selected, will be published against the existing vacancies in various institutions under the M.P. Government. There are two papers, i.e., Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper I is in general awareness, and Paper II is in optional subjects. The duration of Paper I is one hour, and Paper II is two hours. Also, Paper I has 50 questions, and Paper 2 has 100 questions. A very large number of applicants have appeared for the written exam, which was conducted on August 27, 2023, and they are all eagerly awaiting the answer key to be published so that they can check their answers and be sure about the exact marks they will get in both Papers I and II.
