UGC NET Result 2023
The UGC NET Result 2023 is expected to be released on July 27, 2023. The conducting body of the UGC NET Exam is NTA, i.e. National Testing Agency. NTA conducts the UGC NET Exam at a national level, and it is conducted in different phases. The UGC NET Exam allows candidates to apply from different subjects and is conducted twice a year. The candidates who qualify for the Exam will get an appointment letter or admission letter from the government according to their scores and preferences in the Exam.

UGC NET Result 2023 Cutoff Marks
The Candidates who applied for the UGC NET Exam should have achieved the minimum qualifying marks to become eligible for the various posts. There are three types of cutoff marks: Qualifying Cut off, Subject wise cutoff and Category wise cutoff marks for the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship post.
The minimum marks required for qualifying for the UGC NET 2023 Exam for different categories are – General (40% marks), OBC (35%), PwD (35%), SC (35%), and ST (35%). The students who appeared in the Exam should have achieved the above-given marks per their category to get the qualifying certificate and become eligible to join different universities and colleges. The Cut off marks can be accessed from the official website after the release of score card. The candidates who can clear the cutoff marks will be eligible to appear for the counselling round and submit their respective documents.

The merit list can be downloaded by signing into the portal and entering their login details and credentials.
The merit list contains the candidates’ names and their allotted ranks based on the marks they had secured in the UGC NET Exam. The Further selection of the candidates is made based on the merit list and other factors such as – cutoff marks, the number of posts offered, exam level difficulty and the number of candidates who appeared in the Exam. The students can access the merit list of all the subjects from the above given official website, and they are advised to download the merit list and save it for any future reference.

The Answer key for the UGC NET 2023 Exam will be available subject-wise, and the students can easily download it from the official website, i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
