WPL 2024 – Auction Details
As we have already mentioned earlier, the TATA WPL 2024 Auction was conducted in Mumbai, with five teams participating in the much-anticipated auction process where the teams bought players as they wanted. The auction was conducted on December 9, 2023, after 2:30 p.m. IST. The auction was shown on Star Sport Network and the Jio Cinema application. There were 165 players registered, and the Gujarat Giants had the maximum purse balance and the Mumbai Indians had the lowest.
WPL 2024 – Teams
As we have already mentioned earlier, there are five teams overall who are participating in this league, and these teams had participated in season 1, and now season 2 is set to begin. These teams are currently practicing hard for the matches that will begin tomorrow. The teams that will participate are the Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, UP Warriorz, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
